| 授業概要 | Native English-speaking artists often draw on sources that were not originally in English, such as ancient Greek mythology. This course therefore presents some myths as background for English culture, especially literature. |

| 授業の方法 | 演習 Students will read myths and complete comprehension activities for homework; then listen to brief lectures, watch media, and discuss the material with their classmates in order to consolidate it. Retention of all the content covered will be evaluated via weekly quizzes. Finally, they should spend 1 hour to complete preparation and homework for each class. For students who live abroad, far away from the campus, or permitted by CHS or departments they belong to, or permitted by class teachers, please complete assignments on Blackboard given each week. |
