授業概要 The aim of this course is to further strengthen students’ English communication proficiency. Students achieve this goal through weekly activities related to short speech practices, listening comprehension and simulation of pre-made conversations. Language components of the course are speaking, vocabulary acquisition and active listening.

Students use recorded materials from the textbook to simulate conversations and customize the language patterns at hand. Speech practices mirror the themes of the textbook. They are followed by brief discussion sessions to maximize language interaction. Units of the textbook are completed within one class session; and students spend up to two hours, weekly, for previewing upcoming lessons and reviewing previous ones.
授業のねらい・到達目標 At the end of the first term, you will be able to:
1) formulate questions and to give answers in English correctly (A-6-1);

3) introduce yourself with confidence (A-2-1);
4) understand clearly what is being said in English (A-3-1);
