授業概要 | The aim of this course is for you to build on your existing knowledge and increase your confidence so that you can express your opinions and talk about your ideas in English. In class we will focus on your oral communication skills. All classes will be conducted face-to-face, and we will use Google Classroom for out-of-class communication, announcements and homework assignments. |
授業のねらい・到達目標 | Throughout the course you should be able to increase your vocabulary, construct sentences to express your ideas, ask questions and respond to the opinions of others. 授業の方法 | Learning a language also includes some elements of cultural study. I want you to be able to understand how English is used so I will communicate in a natural manner, this means that the class format is not a ‘lecture format’ you will be encouraged to interact with me and your class members. I hope this will be closer to the way you will encounter English language outside of the classroom. In addition to the textbook, you will have the opportunity to work in groups to research and create your own presentations. We are scheduled to make two presentations in the Spring semester. Feedback will be provided in class or online when assignments are returned. 語学教育の特性上、教育効果を高めるために、遠隔対応は原則として行わない。 |
履修条件 | ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、外国語教育センターで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」(前期)と「英語2」(後期)は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 |

成績評価の方法及び基準 | 授業内テスト:Examinations will be measured by in-class Google Classroom assignments during the semester.(20%)、授業参画度:Classwork grades will be assessed based on your ability to make good use of the textbook, contribution during group projects/presentations and communication with your fellow students.(50%)、Presentations (15% each) will be assessed by myself and your classmates.(30%) |
