授業の形態 | Classes in the fall 2022 term will be conducted “in-person” meaning more than 7 time classes will be on campus. Remote classes will be conducted online through "Zoom" video conferencing application (同時双方向型授業(Zoom によるライブ中継). In case of remote classes, one day before the scheduled lesson, the instructor will send students a link to the online lesson. 授業概要 | English 2 is designed to reinforce students' English language proficiency. The focus of this course is to enhance oral communication skills in English. |
授業のねらい・到達目標 | This course aims at enhancing students' oral communication skills. (A-2-1、A-3-1、A-6-1) Primarily, students should develop the linguistic skills to both understand and produce verbal communication on general personal topics which express how one thinks and feel. (A-2-1、A-3-1、A-6-1) In addition, students should improve both their aural and verbal fluency to understand and express basic facts about themselves as well as basic opinions they hold without hesitation.(A-2-1、A-3-1、A-6-1) The goal of this course is to enhance these oral communication skills. この科目は文理学部のDP及びCPの2, 3, 6 に対応している。 |
授業の方法 | 演習形式 Classes focus on oral communication, which is the basic media of language. Students will be able to develop the ability to communicate orally and reduce their reliance on written language for understanding. The most important thing in this class is that students are exposed to the teacher's "living English" every class. As a general rule, classes are conducted in English, and students are to actively participate in the classes. Students who live abroad and far away from the campus. Also, students who are permitted by CHS or departments they belong to, or students who are permitted by class teachers will be required to complete and submit weekly assignments. These assignments will be sent to students by the instructor via email. |
履修条件 | ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、外国語教育センターで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」(前期)と「英語2」(後期)は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 |
