| 授業概要 | The purpose of this course is to learn how to research a company for employment purposes. |
| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | The Can-Do Statements for this course are: I can research a company, its products and services, its people, and a job opportunity in English. 以下のことについて英語で調べることができる：会社、製品、サービス、従業員、求人。 I can answer a number of common interview questions in English. 面接でよく聞かれる質問に対して英語で答えることができる。 I can describe my past work experiences using the X-Y-Z formula in English. 過去の労働経験についてX-Y-Z形式を使って英語で説明することができる。 I can write a cover letter for a resume in English. 履歴書のカヴァーレターを英語で書くことができる。 I can write a thank you email to an interviewer in English. 謝辞のメールを英語で書くことができる。 この科目は文理学部のDP及びCPの2, 3, 6 に対応している。 |
| 授業の方法 | Students will complete weekly assignments linked to a series of short YouTube videos on Google Classroom that will help them enhance their job hunting skills. In addition, students will research employment opportunities at a company of their choice. The teacher will offer Zoom meeting for the class to help them to successfully complete the assignments. Format：【seminer】 遠隔での参加を認める要件： 「⽇本に⼊国できない留学⽣，遠⽅に居住している学⽣で事前に学部（学科）から許可された者。または事前に授業担当教員の許可された者。」 代替措置： Blackboard に配信する課題を提出する。そのほか詳しいことは状況に応じて別途指示する。 |
| 履修条件 | ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、外国語教育センターで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」（前期）と「英語2」（後期）は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 |
