授業概要 | This is an English course aimed towards developing communicative English skills. The course will cover various topics that often come up in everyday conversation. Students will have a chance to learn how to communicate naturally about those topics. A significant amount of time will also be devoted to learning/relearning tenses. |
授業のねらい・到達目標 | -Students will be able to identify subtle differences in meaning between tenses (A-2-1) -Students will be able to think logically about English sentence structures (A-3-1) -Students will be able to communicate effectively about the topics covered in the course (A-6-1) この科目は文理学部のDP及びCPの2, 3, 6 に対応している。 |
授業の方法 | 演習方式 Students will engage in conversation activities, work on questions from the textbook and handouts, and will be given several quizzes. Feedback will be given during and/or after each task. Students who are unable to attend classes in-person and have been permitted by CHS, their department, or by me to attend remotely will need to participate by watching a video on Blackboard and submitting assignments each week. |
履修条件 | ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、外国語教育センターで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」(前期)と「英語2」(後期)は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 |
