| 授業概要 | The aim of this course is to equip the students with advanced knowledge in English language. While discussing the relevant topics, we will focus on the relevant everyday situations. This way, the students will be able to better grasp the concepts discussed. Furthermore, we discuss famous examples from the international context. As a result, the students will not only improve their English proficiency but will also broaden their geographic outlook. The course format will be interactive, whereby I expect the students to participate in the classes by making presentations, preparing group projects etc. To sum up, the completion of this course will equip students with advanced English language skills, expose them to the range of important international topics, and prepare them for the more advanced coursework. |
| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | ・英語を聞いて、おおよその内容を理解できる。 ・自分が相手に伝えようとすることを英語で即座に表現できる。 この科目は文理学部のDP及びCPの2, 3, 6 に対応している。 |
| 授業の方法 | 授業の形式：【演習】 「英語1・2」は、ネイティブ・スピーカーの教員および 一部のクラスでは日本人教員が担当します。言語の基本的なメディアである、音声によるコミュニケーションを中心に授業を行います。文字という視覚に頼りがちな傾向を 改め、「生きた英語」に触れながら、十分な音声による コミュニケーションが行える能力を養うよう授業を行い ます。この授業で最も大切なことは、毎時間、教員の「生きた英語」に接することです。原則として授業は英語で 行われますので、受講生の積極的な授業参加が望まれます。 |
| 履修条件 | 英語1･2： ①英語習熟度別クラス分けテストを受け、その結果により振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。 ②英語習熟度別クラス分けテスト未受験の者は、外国語教育センターで振り分けられたクラスで履修すること。振り分けられたクラス以外での履修はできません。 ③「英語1」（前期）と「英語2」（後期）は同一教員による同一時限のクラスを履修すること。 ④卒業に必要な外国語科目として「英語」を選択した場合、必ずこの科目を履修すること。 オーラル英語1･2、英文ライティング1･2など： 同一教員・同一時限で前期と後期を対にして履修すること。 後期のみの受講希望者も必ず「前期」の初回授業時に参加し、履修の許可を得た上で、後期に履修登録すること。 前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超過した場合、人数調整をする。 |
