| 授業概要 | This is a an Internet-based course featuring "TED Talks" video presentations. |
| 授業のねらい・到達目標 | By taking this course, students are able to improve their English communication skills by learning about contemporary global topics by watching the videos, reading the transcripts, and taking the online quizzes. |
| 授業の方法 | There are 7 topics covered in the semester, and each topic has 2 parts (2 weeks). Part 1 (week 1 of the topic) begins with students reading the topic summary and overview. Students then watch the "TED Talks" video while reading the video transcript. In part 2 (week 2 of the topic), students review the transcript, and then take the online quiz. |
