The semester is therefore divided into the Writing Unit, the Linguistics Unit, and the Literature Unit.In the Writing Unit, students further their writing skills by writing a two-page essay, while improving their written fluency. In the Linguistics Unit, students read a passage on language and technology, and complete comprehension questions on the passage. They will also discuss relevant themes, carry out vocabulary and grammar exercises, perform interpretive tasks, and write a paragraph. In the Literature Unit, students read a short story, complete vocabulary and grammar tasks, then perform interpretive tasks that require students to respond to the theme and conflicts in a story by writing a two-page essay. |
