授業概要 By introducing the students to classroom English, students will be able to improve students’ outcomes in secondary school classes
授業のねらい・到達目標 This class will build upon the concepts covered in the third-year TESOL class, and those of the first semester. Students will be able to gain confidence using English as a medium of instruction in the language classroom.

授業の方法 Students will participate in lectures, discussions and guided journaling on the benefits of using classroom English. Students themselves will create and carry out micro English lessons, and evaluate their classmates’ teaching performances. Students should spend 1 hour to complete the preparation and homework for each class.

Students’ participation will be measured by their performance during discussions in each class.
