授業概要	Reading a sample text, answering questions and writing a paragraph on the subject discussed in each chapter.
授業のねらい・到達目標	パラグラフライティングからエッセイライティングまで、正しい英文の書き方とスタイルを学ぶことができます。この科目は文理学部（学士（文学））のディプロマポリシーDP2,DP4,DP5及びカリキュラムポリシーCP5に対応しています。
授業の方法	Students are asked to read the sample text, answer questions, and write a paragraph on the subject discussed in each chapter. Students are supposed to spend 1 hour to complete preparation and homework on each class.
履修条件	・同一教員・同一時限で前期と後期を対にして履修すること。・後期のみの受講希望者も必ず「前期」の初回授業に参加し、履修の許可を得た上で、後期に履修登録すること。前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超過した場合、人数調整をする。
