授業概要	In this course, the main topic is an ancient Chinese philosophy. Specifically the philosophy of Taoism is the very main topcic in this course. In this school of Taoism we can find Laotzu and Chuangtzu. Reading their original texis, the philosophy of the Tao is to be clarified gradually.
授業のねらい・到達目標	This course is aiming at giving students an overview of an aspect of Asian philosophy and to understand Asian mind more profoundly. この科目は文理学部（学士（文学））のディプロマポリシーDP2,DP4及びカリキュラムポリシーCP8に対応しています。
授業の方法	lecture and seminar 本授業の事前・事後学習は，各２時間の学習を目安とします。
履修条件	この科目は基本的に英語を母国語とし、自国において英語で授業を受けている留学生対象の授業です。英語が出来ることは必要最低限の条件ですが、それだけでは不十分です。哲学や医学について、日本語で授業を受ける意志と能力が要求されます。
