授業テーマ | This course uses high interest academic content (e.g., global or information technology issues) to build on students’ daily and academic English spoken ability by focusing on discussion, presentation and debate roles and strategies. |

授業のねらい・到達目標 | The goal of this course is to develop students’ speaking ability to participate in academic discussions, presentations and debates using various online media sources to engage students to express themselves. |
授業の方法 | The content and language integrating learning teaching method has a focus on pair and group work for students to brainstorm ideas, express their opinions and do online research before choosing a topic for the academic task (i.e., discussions, presentations and debates). |
履修条件 | ・同一教員・同一時限で前期と後期を対にして履修すること。 ・後期のみの受講希望者も必ず「前期」の初回授業に参加し、履修の許可を得た上で、後期に履修登録すること。前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超過した場合、人数調整をする。 |
