授業テーマ	Students will be introduced to Victorian literature (1837-1901) by exposing them to some of the most famous fairy tales written during the early (1837-60) and middle (1851-70) periods of that era.
授業のねらい・到達目標	The goal of this course is to read and understand a few of the first texts of children's literature ever published in the English language.
授業の方法	Students will read Victorian fairy tales, along with some criticism, and summarize them for homework; then complete comprehension activities, listen to brief lectures, watch media, and discuss the content in class in order to consolidate the material.
