授業テーマ	The theme of this class is enhancing students' English writing skills through interesting exercises and stimulating writing assignments. The class will be simultaneously fun and educational. Students of various levels can benefit from this class. All are welcome.
授業のねらい・到達目標	The aim of this class is improve students' writing ability, to make them able to express themselves better and to give them confidence. By the end of the class, each student will have a better understanding of grammar, word choices and paragraph structure.
授業の方法	In-class activities will consists of on-the-spot writing assignments, brainstorming activities and pair-work. Though it is a writing class, the class will be high-energy with a great deal of interaction between the students. Students will interview each other, take surveys and engage in writing related conversation with their classmates. There will weekly writing homework assignments. Assignments will include personal biographies, restaurant reviews, travel writing and various other activities. There will be a final writing exam. Students will also be graded on in-class participation and attendance.
事前学修・事後学修，授業計画コメント	This class will focus on academic writing with a stress on personal essays and basic sentence and paragraph structures. Throughout the year, we will practice writing in class as well as tackling various topics through homework and self-study activities. As well as learning the functional aspects of writing and sentence structure, the class will aim to boost student confidence in regards to their overall attitude towards writing in English. A wide variety of topics will be covered over the duration of the curse. We will touch on more lighthearted themes, such as hobbies, vacations and friends. Conversely, we will tackle weightier topics, such as fears, global problems and lifetime goals. There will be no textbook required, rather new topics will be presented in each class. A notebook and a dictionary are essential.
