授業テーマ	Listening to, watching, discussing, writing about, and presenting WORLI-TOPICS.
授業のねらい・到達目標	The goal of this course is to continue helping students improve all four English skills learned and practiced in the spring semester by reading different stories and watching different short videos about WORLD & LIFE TOPICS.
授業の方法	Students begin each class by listening to a short lecture about a topic, reading the story highlights, and then watching a short video about the story. Students discuss the questions about the story, as well as their ideas and opinions about the topic. They then write comments in a BLOG format, as well as present their comment as a short class presentation.
履修条件	Students must have at least good basic speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English. They also must have at least good basic computer skills, and skills using the Internet. ・同一教員・同一時限で前期と後期を対にして履修すること。・後期のみの受講希望者も必ず「前期」の初回授業に参加し、履修の許可を得た上で、後期に履修登録すること。前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超過した場合、人数調整をする。
事前学修・事後学修，授業計画コメント	Before class, students should read the story highlights, and watch the story video. After class, students must read the other student comments, choose one and write a reply. Students must also prepare their comment so they can give a short class presentation.

5	WORLI-TOPIC 3 / WEATHER – A Year on Planet Earth Preparation: Students read the story highlights, and watch the story video.
6	WORLI-TOPIC 4 / ANIMATION – Water Water Every Hare Preparation: Students read the story highlights, and watch the story video.
7	WORLI-TOPIC 5 / SPORTS – Greatest Sports Plays & Moments Preparation: Students read the story highlights, and watch the story video.
8	WORLI-TOPIC 6 / CULTURE – Faces, Nations, Cultures Preparation: Students read the story highlights, and watch the story video.

教科書	There is no textbook for this course. Instead, there is a website that is used for all class content and activities. ・前期の初回授業時に受講希望者が定員を超えた場合、人数調整をするため、履修の許可を得るまでは教科書を購入しないこと。
参考書	Students should have a good book or electronic dictionary.
成績評価の方法及び基準	平常点(20%)、授業内テスト(20%)、授業参画度(30%)、writing comments and replies on the class BLOG(30%) Students who are frequently absent or late will not receive credit for the course.
オフィスアワー	The teacher is available before class in the teachers' lounge before and after class in the classroom.
備考	Attending class is the most important factor for the success of this course. In addition to good attendance, being on time is also very important. If a student fails to meet the minimum attendance and punctuality requirements, they may fail the course. As we all know, life is hectic and requires a lot of energy in many areas, for both students and teachers. It is therefore essential to have the necessary energy in order to be productive in this course. This requires that all students to be well rested and have good attitudes about learning. Without a sound mind, body, and spirit, effective learning cannot take place. An equally important thing to keep in mind is the idea of courtesy and common sense. Students must have both in order to pass the course as well as succeed in life. And finally, learning English is a challenging task that requires continued effort, but while enjoying the time spent in doing so. Good luck!
